Abstract:The common weed Tridax procumbens has a broad range of pharmacological actions that make it a promising subject for Pharmacognostical and phytochemical study. Identifying the plant and examining its physical characteristics and chemical makeup are the main objectives of this research. Comprehensive phytochemical analyses uncover the existence of many bioactive substances. The inflammation-inhibiting, antibacterial, antioxidant and healing characteristics of Tridax procumbens have been shown by pharmacological research. This study highlights Tridax procumbens's potential for therapeutic use and makes a case for its incorporation into contemporary Ayurvedic pharmacopeias by clarifying its phytochemical composition and Pharmacognostical features.
